Of course, it’s all highly magical and all the servants have highly dangerous powers, which they use against each other.

What is Fate/Grand Order?
Well, that was a little bit of background. Fate/Grand order is an online, free, role-playing-game, or RPG. Kinda like the famous Warcraft series. As a player, you take on the role of a Master who commands a Servant, and you get to play for the Holy Grail.
This universe is slightly different. It has a more science-fiction type of narrative where you’re a researcher in an organization called Caldea, which is aimed at preserving the future of humanity. As they are super-advanced, they’ve finally managed to create a time-traveling machine to send people at particular points in time in order to change the present for good.
Things don’t go as planned when the first bunch of mages is sent back in time – they all get wiped out. Of course, you, being the most novice mage, end up being transported all the way back to 2004, in Fuyuki city, where the battle for the Grail is in full motion. Now all you have to do is fight your way out and fix problems in the timeline to save everybody because you’re the only one who can!
Easy, right? Well, things just get more interesting.
The game’s mechanics revolve around turn-based combat. Trust us when we say that there is a LOT of combat. The way in which this combat works involves a lot of strategy, and you can’t have your way with just brute force, or a powerful servant.
You can create a deck of up to 5 servants. Two of your servants will be part of the main combat team, and the rest are like substitutes, or reserve members. The third member of your combat team will either be a friend’s – or a random online player’s servant. Now if you’re just starting out, these servants may just be extremely powerful compared to yours. So, you’ll have to figure out the leveling mechanics in order to get to their proficiency, which makes this altogether more of a challenge.
Most other online, level-based games involve you mindlessly grinding in order to increase your level. But Fate/Grand Order does away with that. This means that the servant you use the most may not be the one with the highest level. You get experience cards that are acquired through daily events and spontaneous missions with which you can power up your favourite servants. This keeps the players hooked and has them coming back again due to the random nature of these events.

Saber Alter is the black form of Arturia Pendragon that has been corrupted by an evil god, residing inside the Grail itself. She thinks that it is the duty of a hero to be hated in order to become truly powerful, so that she can cut down anyone who thinks differently.
In Fate/Grand order, she appears to be exactly like saber when it comes to the physical profile – but her features are drastically different. She is black-themed, with a jet-black sword, heavier black plate armour, pale skin and golden irises as compared to Saber’s green eyes. Nitocris saw that the pharaoh’s seat was contested violently, and it had caused the murder of her brothers – so when she became a pharaoh herself, she schemed to have the murderers killed, especially the nobility. After she got her revenge, she promptly committed suicide.
In Fate/Grand Order, Nitocris appears as a dark-skinned, young woman. Her clothing is extremely revealing and highlights her curves.
